100x35x1800 ITA/FEM Forks

The weight of a single 100x35x1800 ITA/FEM fork is 56 kg, and the rated load capacity of the fork pair is 1900 kg. The cross-section width is 100 mm, the thickness is 35 mm, and the total length is 1.8 meters. Such a slender proportion places stringent requirements on materials under a load of 1,900 kilograms. During manufacturing, a double process of vacuum melting and electroslag re-smelting is used to completely eliminate non-metallic inclusions. After each 56-kilogram piece of steel is extended by roll forging, the hook area is partially upsetting on a free-forging press to ensure that the root cross-sectional area is not weakened due to the increase in length. The fork tip treatment uses negative pressure nitriding to form an extremely thin and dense hardened layer to prevent long forks from warping due to overall quenching. The fork surface does not have any anti-skid pattern, but is polished, and the edges are rounded, so that no scratches are produced when used to push painted wind turbine blade molds or high-speed rail side wall panels.

Since a single load of 56 kg is far beyond the human safety range, two trapezoidal lifting slots are directly cast on the upper surface of the fork, which can be quickly replaced with a special spreader. The rated load of this model is 1900 kg and the default load center is 500 mm. It is strictly prohibited to use it beyond this value. During actual deployment, it is recommended that the forklift truck add additional rear axle counterweight to prevent the over-long fork from causing the mast to tilt forward and become unstable. Each pair of forks undergoes a static pressure test with an overload of 30% before leaving the factory, and the residual deformation is marked on the fork leg facade for permanent inspection.
